Smyser 2010-11 Instructional Fees
Thank you very much for you continued support of our wonderful school. As you already know, Chicago Public Schools are experiencing a terrible funding crisis. Along with the Local School Council, I have worked hard to insure that instructional programs are not impacted and that our children continue to receive high quality educational services. Unfortunately, the cost of instructional materials continues to rise forcing us to raise fees. This year, children in grades K-8 are required to pay a $100 work book fee.

Reflections on a Wonderful Year
With less than three weeks remaining, it’s hard to believe another school year is about to end. As I reflect back, I am proud of the hard work of staff and students and the many special events and accomplishments that make our school wonderful.
