In 2006, Ms. Wisniewska and her room 208 students embarked on an ambitious plan to create and maintain a Smyser garden. Through the collective efforts of the teacher and students and supported by the PTO and Principal students experience first hand the planning, planting, and gowing of various flowers. This work connected to reading, writing, and science instruction. Great Job! We look forward to the 2009 Gardening Club plans and product.
